# Create an account or accept an invitation

Accept an invitation, request access to a platform, or register a new platform for your company and accept the terms and conditions.

There are three ways to get a Transportial account. Most people are invited by a colleague. You can also ask for access to an existing platform, or register a brand-new platform for your company.

## Accept an invitation

When an administrator invites you, you receive an e-mail titled **You've been invited to** followed by the platform name.

1. Open the invitation e-mail and click **Get access now**. If the button does not work, copy the link below **Or try this link:** into your browser.
2. On the **New password** page, enter a password of at least 6 characters in **Password**.
3. Enter the same password in **Repeat password**.
4. Click **Reset**. You are taken to the login page.
5. Log in with your e-mail address and new password. See [Log in and keep your account secure](/en-us/help/log-in-and-security).

Did not receive the invitation? Check your spam folder, then ask your administrator to send it again.

## Request access to a platform

Some platforms let people ask for an account themselves. The login page then shows a link **Request access to** followed by the platform name.

1. On the login page, click **Request access to** …
2. Fill in **First Name**, **Last name**, **E-mail** and **Username**.
3. Choose a password and enter it again in **Repeat password**.
4. Tick the box to agree with the **Terms and Conditions** and complete the reCAPTCHA check.
5. Click **Request access**. You see **Request submitted**.

An administrator of the platform reviews your request. You cannot log in until it is approved. You receive an e-mail once a decision has been made.

## Register a new platform for your company

If your company does not use Transportial yet, and the login page shows **Create a new platform**, you can register one. You become its administrator.

1. On the login page, click **Create a new platform**.
2. Fill in **First Name**, **Last name**, **Username**, **E-mail** and **Telephone number**.
3. Enter your **Company Name**.
4. Choose a password and repeat it. Both entries must match.
5. Tick **I agree with the Terms and Conditions** and complete the reCAPTCHA check.
6. Click **Create Account**. A welcome page tells you a confirmation link has been sent.
7. Open the e-mail and click **Confirm your email**. You are taken to the login page.

Software developers who want to build on Transportial can use **Register as a developer? Click here.** on the registration page instead.

## Accept the terms and conditions

The first time the owner of a new platform logs in, Transportial shows **Welcome to your platform**. The terms and conditions apply to the whole company, so you accept them on its behalf.

1. Click **Read the terms & conditions** to open and read them.
2. Tick **I have read and accept the terms & conditions** (it may add "on behalf of" your company).
3. Click **Accept & continue**.
4. If you are asked to **Add a payment method**, enter your card details. When this step is optional you can click **Skip for now** and add it later.

When the terms change later, users who are allowed to accept them on behalf of the company see **Our terms have been updated** after logging in and accept the new version in the same way. Other users are not interrupted.
