# Keep track of tires

Register the tires fitted to a vehicle or trailer with their size, class and purchase invoice.

**Who can do this:** Permission to view tires of vehicles or means of transport, set in your role.

You can keep a record of the tires on each vehicle and each means of transport, for example to follow wear or warranty. Tires are managed from the **Tires** tab of the vehicle or equipment.

## Add a tire

1. Open the side menu (☰) and choose **Vehicles** or **Means of transport**.
2. Click the vehicle or equipment to open it.
3. Choose the **Tires** tab.
4. Click **Create Tire**. The vehicle or equipment is filled in for you.
5. Enter a **Name** (required), for example "Front left".
6. Choose a tire class in **Select tire class** and a construction in **Select tire fabric**.
7. Fill in the size: **Thread Width**, **Aspect Ratio**, **Diameter**, **Load Index** and **Speeding Rate**.
8. Optionally enter **Made In**, link the purchase **Invoice** and add notes.
9. Click **Save**.

## Options

| Field       | Choices                                                                |
| ----------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Tire class  | **Light Truck**, **Passenger Car**, **Special Trailer**, **Temporary** |
| Tire fabric | **Bias Belt**, **Cross Ply**, **Diagonal**, **Radial**                 |

## View, edit and remove tires

1. Open the **Tires** tab of the vehicle or equipment.
2. Click a tire to see its details, including the linked vehicle, equipment and invoice.
3. Click **Edit** on a row to change it, or **Remove** to delete it after confirming.

The **Tires** tab only appears when your role allows you to view tires. Ask your administrator if you do not see it.
