# HubSpot integration

> Push customers to HubSpot as companies and invoices as deals, so your CRM shows what each account actually ships.

## What is HubSpot?

HubSpot is a CRM platform with marketing, sales and service tools. Sales teams at transport and logistics companies use it to manage accounts, contacts and their deal pipeline.

## What syncs between HubSpot and Transportial

- **Customers → HubSpot companies** (To HubSpot): A new customer in Transportial is created in HubSpot as a company with name, description, industry, website, Chamber of Commerce and VAT number and address. Later changes to the customer update the same company; the HubSpot company ID is stored on the customer.
- **Invoices → HubSpot deals** (To HubSpot): Each new invoice is created as a deal on the matching company, with the invoice name and total amount — so transport revenue shows up in the CRM without anyone retyping it.

## How to connect HubSpot

1. In HubSpot, create a private app with write access to companies and deals, and copy its access token.
2. Add the HubSpot integration in Transportial and paste the token.
3. From then on, new customers and invoices are sent to HubSpot automatically.

## Typical use case

A carrier’s account managers work in HubSpot, while planning and invoicing run in Transportial. With the integration, every new shipper that operations add also exists in the CRM, and every invoice appears as a deal on that company — so account managers see which customers are growing or slowing down without asking finance for a report.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does the HubSpot integration sync?

Customers are created and updated as HubSpot companies, and invoices are created as deals on those companies with their total amount.

### Is it a two-way sync?

No, data flows from Transportial to HubSpot. Contacts, deal stages and reading data back from HubSpot are not part of the standard connector; such flows can be built with Transportial’s integration framework and REST API — our team scopes that with you.

### Do I need an agency to build a HubSpot integration?

No. The connector is part of Transportial: you provide a HubSpot private-app token and we configure it with you. Only custom flows beyond companies and deals need extra work.
