# Monitor your fleet in the Fleet FMS view

See the latest sensor readings, driving style, remaining driving times and cost per kilometre for all vehicles in one place.

Updated 4 October 2026

**Who can do this:** The FMS platform feature and the vehicle permission. Internal users only.

The **Fleet FMS** tab brings the data from your vehicles' board computers and sensors together. You see per vehicle the latest readings, how it is being driven, how much driving time the drivers have left, and what each kilometre costs.

## Open the Fleet FMS view

1. Click the home icon in the header to open the dashboard.
2. Make sure the view selector at the top right is set to **Planning**.
3. Click the **Fleet FMS** tab.
4. Click one of the sub-tabs: **Sensors**, **Means of transport**, **Driving style**, **Remaining driving times**, **Utilization & cost per km**, **Compare vehicles** or **Geofences**.

Each table has a **Search...** box and loads more rows as you scroll down. Most tables also have the **All vehicles** filter, where you choose one or more vehicle groups or fleets. Tables that cover a period have a **Period** filter; the default is the last seven days. You can use the usual table filters, saved views and column sorting; see [Filters and tables](/en/help/filters-and-tables).

## Sensors

The latest reading per vehicle: **Fuel**, **Coolant temperature**, **Battery voltage**, **Odometer**, **Speed** and **Distance to service**. **Last seen** shows how long ago the vehicle reported. It turns red and bold when the last reading is 24 hours old or more. A dash means there is no reading.

## Means of transport

The same overview for your own trailers and other equipment: **Temperature**, **Axle weight**, **Ambient temperature**, **Battery voltage**, **Odometer** and **Last seen**. Equipment from contracts or capacity partners is not included.

## Driving style

A leaderboard of vehicles for the selected period. Each vehicle gets a **Score** from 0 to 100: green from 80, orange from 60 and red below 60\. The table also shows **Harsh braking** (a count), **Idling (min)** and **Fuel efficiency**. Vehicles without driving data are listed at the bottom.

The ranking is based on the rows loaded so far. Scroll down to load all vehicles for a complete ranking.

## Remaining driving times

Tachograph data per vehicle and driver slot. The **Driver** column shows the slot, with "(no card)" when no card is inserted. **Activity** shows whether the driver is resting, available, working or driving. The time left is shown as hours and minutes:

* **Until break**: orange at 30 minutes or less, red when no time is left.
* **Today**: orange at one hour or less, red when no time is left.
* **This week** and **Two weeks**: the weekly and two-weekly time left.

## Utilization & cost per km

Per vehicle for the selected period: **Distance**, **Engine hours**, **Utilization** (%), **Fuel** (litres), **l/100km**, **Fuel cost**, **Total cost** and **Cost / km**. Costs are calculated from the fuel price and the cost rates set for your platform, depending on your platform's settings.

## Compare vehicles and geofences

The last two sub-tabs are tools rather than lists. See [Compare sensor readings between vehicles](/en/help/fleet-fms-compare-vehicles) and [Set up geofences](/en/help/fleet-fms-geofences).

The Fleet FMS view can also be added to your own dashboard. See [Build your own dashboard](/en/help/custom-dashboards).
