# View and manage notifications

See your notifications in the header and on the notifications page, and choose which ones reach you by email or on your phone.

Updated 4 October 2026

Notifications tell you when something needs your attention: a new transport order, a vehicle problem, a to-do assigned to you, or a message from an automation. They appear under the bell icon in the header. You decide which kinds of notifications you receive and whether they also arrive by email or on your phone.

## See your notifications

1. Click the bell icon in the header. A number on the icon shows how many notifications are unread.
2. Read the latest notifications in the drop-down. Opening the drop-down marks them as read.
3. Click a notification to go to the order, trip or other record it is about.
4. Click **Details** or **All notifications** to open the full **Notifications** list.

On a phone, tap the bell icon in the bottom bar. If there is nothing to show, you see **No notifications found**.

## Choose which notifications you receive

1. Open the side menu (☰, top right) and choose **Settings**.
2. Click the **Notifications** tab.
3. For each type, switch notifications on or off with **Off/On**.
4. Switch on **E-mails** to also receive that type by email.
5. Switch on **Mobile** to also receive it as a push notification on your phone.

Changes are saved straight away. **E-mails** and **Mobile** can only be switched on when the notification type itself is on.

| **Support centrum** | Your support tickets and their updates. Shown to administrators only. |

## Automation preferences

Your administrator can let you choose for yourself whether you receive certain automated messages. These are listed on the same tab under **Automation Preferences**, each with its name, description and an **Off/On** switch. If the section is missing, no automations have been made optional for you. See [Message automations](/en/help/message-automations).

## Browser and desktop notifications

Your browser may ask whether Transportial may show notifications. Allow it to get push notifications even when the tab is in the background. In [Transportial Desktop](/en/help/desktop-notifications-and-updates), new chat messages and new alerts also appear as system notifications.

Alerts about trips and vehicles are shown on the plan boards and the trip itself. See [Handle alerts](/en/help/alerts).
