# Manage your account and settings

Change your profile picture and app language, reset your password, set up two-factor authentication, call support and sign out on the My Account tab.

Updated 5 October 2026

The **My Account** tab (the person icon at the right of the bottom bar) holds your profile and app settings. At the top you see your profile picture and name, with your **Total trips** and **Trips in transit** (trips you have started and not yet finished) underneath.

## Change your profile picture

1. Open **My Account**.
2. Tap the edit icon on your profile picture.
3. Choose a photo from your gallery.
4. Wait while it uploads. Planners and colleagues see the new picture in chats.

## Change the app language

1. Open **My Account**.
2. Tap the selector next to **Language**.
3. Choose your language.

The app switches language immediately. The choice is saved on your Transportial account, so it also applies when you log in to the web app. You can also change the language on the login screen with the selector at the top right.

## Reset your password

1. Open **My Account** and tap **Reset Password**.
2. Enter your email address.
3. Tap **Recover my account**.
4. Open the email you receive and follow the link to create a new password.

## Switch on two-factor authentication

With two-factor authentication, OpenMove asks for a 6-digit code from an authentication app after your email address and password. Install an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, on your phone first.

1. Open **My Account** and tap **Two-factor authentication**.
2. Switch on **Authentication app**.
3. Scan the QR code with your authentication app, or tap **Copy key** and paste the key into the app.
4. Write down the **Recovery codes** and keep them somewhere safe. Each one can switch two-factor authentication off if you lose your phone.
5. Tap **Next**.
6. Enter the 6-digit code your authentication app shows and tap **Activate**.
7. Tap **Got it** in the message **Two-factor authentication is on**.

The recovery codes are only shown during this setup. Keep them before you tap **Next**.

## Switch off two-factor authentication

1. Open **My Account** and tap **Two-factor authentication**.
2. Switch off **Authentication app**.
3. Enter a code from your authentication app and tap **Turn off**. You see **Two-factor authentication is off**.

## Call support

Tap **Call Support** to open your phone's dialler with the Transportial support number. For questions about your trips, contact your own planner instead.

## Sign out

1. Open **My Account**.
2. Tap the sign-out icon at the top right. OpenMove first tries to send any updates that are still waiting, and shows **Sending updates…**.
3. Tap **Sign Out** to confirm, or **Go Back** to stay logged in.

If some updates still could not be sent, for example because you have no signal, you see **Unsent updates** with the number of updates that would be lost. Tap **Cancel**, go somewhere with signal and try again. Only tap **Sign out anyway** if you accept that those updates are lost.

Signing out deletes the updates that were not sent. See [Use OpenMove without a connection](/en/help/openmove-offline-use). After signing out, OpenMove stops sharing your location.

Sharing a phone with another driver? Each driver signs out at the end of their shift and the next driver logs in with their own account. That way trips, chats and activities stay with the right person.
