# Add and open trip documents

Open, download, add and delete the documents of a trip, such as CMRs, delivery notes and photos, from the Documents tab in OpenMove.

Each trip has a **Documents** tab. It contains the files your planner attached to the trip, such as loading instructions or a CMR, and the files you add yourself. Documents you add are visible to your planner in the Transportial web app straight away.

## Open or download a document

1. Open the trip and tap the **Documents** tab.
2. Tap an image to view it full screen. Pinch to zoom.
3. Tap the download icon next to any document to save it on your phone.
4. Wait for the message that the file was downloaded successfully.

If the tab shows **No documents found**, nothing has been attached to the trip yet.

## Add a document

1. Take a photo of the paper document with your phone's camera first, if you need to.
2. Open the trip and tap the **Documents** tab.
3. Tap **Create Document**.
4. Choose the file or photo on your phone.
5. Wait while the file uploads. It then appears in the list.

Uploading needs an internet connection. If the upload fails, try again when you have signal.

## Delete a document

1. Tap ⋮ next to the document.
2. Choose **Delete**.
3. Tap **Delete** in the **Delete Confirmation** window, or **Cancel** to keep it.

Deleting removes the document from the trip for everyone, including your planner. Only delete files you added by mistake.

## Tips for good document photos

* Lay the document flat in good light and photograph the whole page.
* Check that stamps, signatures and handwritten remarks are readable before you upload.
* Add one file per document, so the office can find each one easily.
