# Search the freight exchanges

Run a live search across your connected freight exchanges and import the postings you want as tenders.

**Who can do this:** The Marketplace feature and at least one freight exchange integration that supports search.

The marketplace list shows tenders your platform already holds. **Live search** asks your freight exchanges what they have right now, with your criteria. Nothing is stored until you import a posting; then it becomes a tender you can work with like any other.

## Before you start

Connect one or more freight exchanges as integrations, such as Timocom, Trans.eu, DAT or Truckstop. Only exchanges that offer a search can answer. See [Integrations](/en/help/integrations).

## Search

1. Open the **Marketplace** tab on the dashboard.
2. Click the **Live search** sub-tab.
3. Enter where you want to load: **Loading city**, **Loading country** and **Radius (km)** (100 by default).
4. Enter where you want to go: **Unloading city** and **Unloading country**.
5. Optionally enter **Equipment codes** (separate several with commas), **Max. weight (kg)** and **Min. price**.
6. Click **Search the exchanges**.

Leave a field empty to not filter on it.

## Read the results

* Above the results, each exchange shows how many postings it returned, or _unavailable_ when it did not answer. Hover over it to see the error, or which filters were applied by Transportial rather than by the board.
* Each posting shows the lane, the source, the pickup time, weight, distance, equipment and the price with the price per km.
* Click **Load more** at the bottom for the next page.

## Import a posting

1. Find the posting you want.
2. Click **Import**. The button shows **Importing…** and then **Imported**.
3. Go back to the **Marketplace** sub-tab.
4. Find the new tender in the list, filtered on its source if needed.

The imported tender is open, with the lane, time windows, price and load as the exchange gave them. To respond to the shipper, click **Open on** followed by the board name, on the posting or on the imported tender.

If you see _No offers on the exchanges for these criteria_, widen the radius, drop the destination or check whether your exchanges answered.
