## New features

* NewDesktop app
### Transportial Desktop for Windows, macOS and Linux
Run Transportial as a desktop app with pop-out windows, desktop notifications with an unread badge, automatic updates and an environment switcher. A Perspective menu switches between your settings groups.

  * [Read the guide: Install Transportial Desktop →](/en/help/desktop-install)
  * [Read the guide: Work with windows and pop-outs →](/en/help/desktop-windows-and-popouts)
  * [Read the guide: Desktop notifications and updates →](/en/help/desktop-notifications-and-updates)
* NewPlanning
### Automatic planning exceptions
Transportial now detects trips that have not started, overdue stops, time windows at risk, missing vehicles or drivers, lost vehicle signals and unplanned consignments. Exceptions come with suggested actions and close automatically once they no longer apply.

  * [Read the guide: Handle planning exceptions →](/en/help/exceptions-view)
* NewPlanning
### ETAs that account for driver hours and real handling times
ETAs can include mandatory breaks and rests under EU 561/2006, optionally seeded from the live tachograph, use historical handling times per location and blend in live vehicle speed. Required rests can be added to the route as visible actions.

  * [Read the guide: Configure planning and routing for the platform →](/en/help/platform-planning-and-routing-settings)
  * [Read the guide: Follow a trip live →](/en/help/track-trip-live)
* NewPlanning
### Route alternatives, cost modes and PTV OptiFlow
Compare fastest, eco and cheapest route options, or compare routing engines side by side. Choose what route costs include (toll, fuel, time and emissions), when routes are recalculated, and plan with the PTV OptiFlow optimizer.

  * [Read the guide: Calculate a route with the route planner →](/en/help/route-planner)
  * [Read the guide: Create trips with the optimizer →](/en/help/optimizer)
  * [Read the guide: Configure planning and routing for the platform →](/en/help/platform-planning-and-routing-settings)
* NewTrips
### Configurable trip cancellation
Decide what canceling a trip does to consignments it left part-way: return unexecuted actions to the planning pool, record where the goods are, flag the consignment for replanning and notify the order's team.

  * [Read the guide: Cancel, remove or split a trip →](/en/help/cancel-or-split-trip)
* NewPlanning
### Timeslot booking and standalone actions
Book a loading dock timeslot directly from an action and see current bookings. Plan standalone actions, such as attaching a driver or equipment, for several vehicles or drivers at once, and edit or reschedule planned actions.

  * [Read the guide: Work with stops and actions →](/en/help/trip-actions-and-stops)
  * [Read the guide: Plan with the plan board →](/en/help/plan-board)
* NewOpenMove driver app
### Complete grouped actions at one stop together
Actions at the same location are grouped, and planners decide whether drivers handle them one by one, pick which to handle together, or complete them all at once, in both the web app and OpenMove.

  * [Read the guide: Execute a stop →](/en/help/openmove-execute-a-stop)
  * [Read the guide: Work with stops and actions →](/en/help/trip-actions-and-stops)
* NewDocuments
### Generate document templates with AI
Upload a photo or PDF of an existing document, describe what you need, and AI recreates it as an editable template bound to your data. A new template catalog lets you start from ready-made documents.

  * [Read the guide: Create and manage document templates →](/en/help/document-templates)
  * [Read the guide: Design a document template →](/en/help/document-designer)
* NewInsights
### Seven new Insights reports
New reports cover lane analysis, open invoice aging, quote conversion, revenue per customer, trips per driver, vehicle utilization and tachograph activities.

  * [Read the guide: Run a report on the Insights tab →](/en/help/insights)
* NewCustomers & locations
### Privacy controls for the customer portal
Choose which addresses customers can look up in the portal order form and anonymize other customers' data on shared trips. Each customer now keeps an address book separate from your own locations.

  * [Read the guide: Set up the customer portal →](/en/help/customer-portal)
* NewIntegrations & automation
### New connectors for trucks, tachographs and accounting
Connect trucks through rFMS (DAF, Daimler, Iveco, MAN, Renault, Scania and Volvo) and FleetAccess, import tachograph files with download deadline tracking, and sync invoices with SnelStart and e-Boekhouden.

  * [Read the guide: Connect other systems with integrations →](/en/help/integrations)
  * [Read the guide: Set up a preset integration →](/en/help/set-up-preset-integration)
* NewIntegrations & automation
### Custom alert rules and built-in trip checks
Create your own alert rules, including triggers on sensor updates and questionnaire conflicts, switch built-in trip checks on or off, and see alerts update live on trips, vehicles and drivers.

  * [Read the guide: Set up alerts and alert rules →](/en/help/alert-rules)
  * [Read the guide: Handle alerts →](/en/help/alerts)

## Improvements

* ImprovedCommunication
### Read receipts, unread markers and an all-messages view
Chats now show when a message was delivered or read by the driver, mark where unread messages start and count unread messages reliably. A new view lists all messages across chats, and avatars appear throughout the app.

  * [Read the guide: Chat with colleagues and drivers →](/en/help/messages-and-chat)
* ImprovedIntegrations & automation
### Integration tracing, failure alerts and a hosted FTP server
Follow every integration run from object to task to request in a trace view, get notified or e-mailed when an integration fails or stalls, and schedule runs with cron expressions. Partners can upload to an FTP or FTPS server hosted by Transportial.

  * [Read the guide: Monitor an integration →](/en/help/integration-logs)
  * [Read the guide: Connect other systems with integrations →](/en/help/integrations)
