Introducing OpenMove: The Transportial Driver App, Now on iOS and Android

Today we are launching OpenMove, the official Transportial driver app, on both the App Store and Google Play. OpenMove is the operational counterpart to the Transportial planning platform: it puts the full trip plan into the driver's pocket and makes every operational step a single tap away.

Why we built OpenMove

For years, the gap between dispatch and the cab has been bridged with phone calls, paper notes, and WhatsApp groups. That works, until it doesn't. Status updates get lost, photos sit on personal phones, and proof of delivery gets faxed in days later. We built OpenMove to close that gap, with a tool drivers actually want to use.

What drivers can do with OpenMove

Full trip plan on device: Every stop, cargo line, time window, and customer instruction, delivered straight to the driver's phone or tablet the moment dispatch confirms the trip.
Step-by-step actions: Load, unload, customs, weighing, fuelling, sign-off, OpenMove guides drivers through each operational action so nothing is skipped and nothing is ambiguous.
Electronic proof of delivery (ePOD): Capture photos and customer signatures at the point of delivery. Documents are attached to the transport order in real time.
In-app chat with dispatch: No more personal phone numbers. Every message is logged against the trip and visible to the whole operations team.
Live GPS broadcast: Driver location feeds the Watchtower tracking board and customer-facing tracking links automatically.
Push notifications: New trips, plan changes, and urgent dispatcher messages arrive instantly.
Offline-first: Core trip functionality keeps working when connectivity drops, and syncs back to the server the moment the signal returns.

OpenMove is not just a driver tool. Every action a driver takes flows back into the Transportial operations centre in real time: stop completions update ETAs, photos appear on the transport order, signatures unlock invoicing, and tachograph-aware status feeds let planners see exactly where every vehicle stands against EU Regulation 561/2006.
