3D Load Calculator
Enter your freight, choose a 53' trailer, box truck, container or ULD and see exactly how it loads, in 3D, on one page. Stacking limits, unload order per stop, payload and axle weights are checked by the same engine Transportial uses for planning.

Load calculator FAQ
How does the 3D load calculator work?
You list the cargo lines with their size, quantity and weight and choose up to four load spaces. The plan is calculated in your browser by the same engine Transportial uses for planning: units are placed from the front wall towards the door, only on positions with enough support underneath, and the result is improved for as long as the time budget allows. You get a 3D view with a step-by-step loading sequence, the units that did not fit and why, and the weight, volume, floor and loading-meter figures.
Which loading rules does it respect?
Per line you can say whether units may be turned on their side, must stay upright, or must be loaded exactly as entered, whether anything may be stacked on top, and how much weight one unit can carry. Every unit needs at least 75% of its base supported. With several drops, goods for later drops are loaded deeper so nothing blocks an earlier unload. The payload of each load space and, where the equipment has an axle model, the axle limits are checked too.
Can I plan containers, air cargo and rail wagons as well as trailers?
Yes. The equipment list covers road trailers and trucks, swap bodies, ISO sea containers, air cargo ULDs and rail wagons, filtered by market and transport mode. You can also enter a custom inside length, width, height and payload, and combine up to four load spaces, for example a truck with a drawbar trailer or several containers.
How are linear feet calculated in the plan?
Linear feet are the length of trailer floor the placed freight occupies, measured from the nose wall to the furthest unit at full width. Because they come from the actual 3D placement, stacking and turned units are taken into account, unlike a simple pallet-count rule.
How are axle loads checked?
Equipment with an axle model carries two supports: the kingpin or front axle and the rear axle group, each with a limit and a share of the empty weight. The calculator works out how the cargo weight divides over both supports from where each unit stands, and refuses positions that would push either support over its limit. A plan can fit by weight and volume and still fail on the front axle when heavy goods sit at the door.
Do I need an account, and is my cargo data stored?
No account is needed and the calculator is free. The plan is calculated in your browser, so your cargo list is not sent anywhere or stored. A share link keeps the whole input in the link itself instead of on a server.
