Work with carriers on the Transportial network

Link with a carrier that has its own Transportial platform: forwarded trips arrive there as order requests and status, PODs and invoices come back.

Updated October 13, 2026

Who can do this: The transportialNetwork platform feature on both platforms and the Transportial network permissions. The Settings tab needs role level above 600.

When a carrier you subcontract to also works on its own Transportial platform, you can link both platforms. A trip you forward to that carrier then arrives on its platform as a transport order, and its progress, documents and invoices flow back to your trip. Nobody types anything over.

  • You (the shipper) create a one-time invite code on the carrier's business. The carrier accepts it on its own platform.
  • Each side chooses what it shares: Orders (forwarded trips become orders at the carrier, with changes and cancellations), Status (stop progress, arrival estimates, driver and vehicle), Documents (PODs, CMRs and eCMR numbers) and Invoices (the carrier's invoices arrive in your incoming invoices, matched to the trip; both platforms need Transportial invoicing). Something only crosses when both sides share it.
  • Both platforms need the platform feature transportialNetwork in Functions under Settings > Environment > General.

Invite a carrier (shipper)

  1. Open the carrier's business and click the Transportial network tab.
  2. Under Invite this carrier, tick what to share and optionally add a Note.
  3. Click Create invite code.
  4. Copy the Invite code and give it to the carrier. It is shown only once, works once and is valid for 14 days.
  5. On the carrier's capacity contracts, set the communication method to Transportial network. See Capacity contracts.

The link shows Invited until the carrier accepts it, then Active. A new invite replaces an unused one.

Accept an invite (carrier)

  1. Open Settings and click the Transportial network tab. To book the orders for an existing customer, open that customer's business and its Transportial network tab instead.
  2. Under Accept an invite, enter the Invite code.
  3. Tick what you share.
  4. Choose Changes after the start: Refuse, Hold for review (the default) or Apply and flag.
  5. Click Accept.

Accepted from the Settings tab, the orders are booked for a new customer named after the shipper.

Forward a trip

  1. Create a forwarded trip on a capacity contract of the linked carrier.
  2. Click Confirm. The trip is sent to the carrier's platform.
  3. Follow it in the Transportial network panel on the trip's Information tab: the status at the carrier, anything that Needs attention and the sync log. Click Sync again to resend it.

Later changes and a cancellation of the trip are sent along too. The status shows Not delivered yet, At the carrier, In progress, Completed, Canceled or Not delivered (delivery failed; see the log).

Receive an order (carrier)

The forwarded trip arrives as a transport order with the status requested and the banner Via the Transportial network from followed by the shipper's name. It is never accepted automatically: check it and accept it like any requested order. See Accept, decline and plan a transport order. The price agreed with the shipper is on the order as Agreed price (Transportial network).

When the shipper changes or cancels the order after you started, your choice in Changes after the start decides what happens. With Hold for review, the order's Transportial network panel shows the change; click Apply or Dismiss.

Both sides see their links on the Transportial network tab. The carrier can change Changes after the start on an active link. Click Revoke and confirm to end a link; nothing crosses between the platforms any more.

Viewing links needs the permission to see the Transportial network. Inviting and accepting need the permission to create network links, changing and revoking them the permission to update network links, and Apply, Dismiss and Sync again the permission to update network orders.
