Check driving times and driving style

See a driver’s remaining driving and rest times from the tachograph, and coach on harsh braking, idling and speeding.

Updated October 4, 2026

Who can do this: Access to drivers. Driving style needs the FMS feature. Data comes from a connected tachograph or board computer.

When your board computer integration sends tachograph data, Transportial shows how much driving and rest time a driver has left, and with the FMS feature how they drive.

Remaining driving and rest times

  1. Open the side menu (☰) and choose Drivers.
  2. Click the driver to open them.
  3. Look at Remaining working times and Remaining rest periods on the first tab.
ItemMeaning
Daily driving timeDriving time left today.
Weekly driving timeDriving time left this week.
BI Weekly driving timeDriving time left over two weeks.
Daily AmplitudeHow long the working day may still last.
Days of reduced restHow many reduced daily rests are left.
Daily rest, Previous daily rest, Break below minimumRest taken and rest still needed.

Each item shows the Total, Maximum, Minimum and Remaining time. The daily and weekly driving times also appear on driver cards in the vehicle detail and the plan boards.

Driving style

  1. Open the driver, or a vehicle from the header search or a plan board.
  2. Choose the Driving style tab.
  3. Pick the period you want to see.
  4. Read the figures: Distance, Harsh braking, Harsh acceleration, Idling (min), Over-speeding (min), Cruise control and Fuel efficiency.

For drivers, the tab also shows a Coaching trend: the Score and Harsh events over the last weeks, so you can see whether coaching works.

If you see No driving data in this period, the driver's board computer does not send driving-style data, or the driver did not drive in that period.
