Embed a widget on your website
Create a public widget, such as track and trace, a quote request form or a fleet map, and place it on your own website.
Updated October 4, 2026
A widget is a small public part of Transportial that you place on your own website, for example a track and trace box or a form where customers request a quote. Visitors use it without logging in. You create the widget in Transportial, copy its embed code and paste it into your website.

Create a widget
- Open the side menu (☰, top right) and choose Widgets.
- Click + Create widget.
- Enter a Name.
- Choose the type in Select widget type.
- In Hosts, type each website address where the widget may appear (for example www.yourcompany.com) and press Enter.
- Optionally add your own CSS in the styling box to match your website's look.
- Switch the widget on with the Off/On switch.
- Click Save.
The widget only works on the hosts you list. If it stays empty on your website, check that the exact host name of the page is in Hosts.
Place the widget on your website
- In the Widgets list, click the widget to open it.
- Copy the embed code shown under the widget details. It is a short HTML snippet (an iframe).
- Paste the code into the page of your website where the widget should appear, or send it to your web developer.
- Open the page on your website to check that the widget shows.
The widget page also shows an Example preview.
Change or remove a widget
- To change a widget, open it and click the pencil icon, or choose Edit on its row in the list. Change the fields and click Save.
- To stop a widget temporarily, switch it off with Off/On.
- To delete a widget, choose Remove on its row and confirm with Remove. The widget stops working on your website.
A request sent through the Transport order request or Quote request widget creates a transport order with the status requested, which you then handle like any other order. See The transport order list.
