New features
Multimodal routing engine with CO2, tolls and elevation
Transportial now calculates routes with its own routing engine. Routes include CO2 emissions, toll sections and elevation, and the platform can choose its routing provider. Modes that aren't supported yet fall back to a backup route.
CO2 reporting per trip and vehicle
Trips show their CO2 emissions, and a new report lists vehicle CO2 values over a date range. You can use it for sustainability reporting to customers.
Driver planner and driver time slots
Plan driver availability with time slots and see each driver's trips and activities on a dedicated driver planner with filters and drag-and-drop.
Vehicle and transport equipment planners
New timelines show trips per vehicle and per trailer or container. You can attach and detach vehicles and equipment directly from the planner.
Bookings and trip confirmation
Trips can be confirmed before they start, and bookings can be created on trips. The trip status lifecycle is enforced, so everyone sees the same state.
Send quotes and invoices, with variable price indexes
Quotes and invoices can be sent from Transportial and combined into one invoice. Tax rate codes and pricing categories are supported, and variable price indexes such as fuel surcharges adjust your prices automatically.
Accounting and CRM connectors: Twinfield, AFAS and HubSpot
Invoices and relations can now sync with Twinfield and AFAS accounting, and with HubSpot CRM, so they no longer have to be entered twice.
Visibility and telematics connectors, plus webhooks
New connectors include project44 tracking updates, Trimble board computers, BigMile emissions and several freight and air cargo sources. Integrations can also call your systems through webhooks.
Two-factor authentication
Users can protect their account with a one-time code from an authenticator app and download recovery codes.
Self-service signup with billing and a developer portal
New companies can sign up and enter payment details on their own, and view billing statistics and invoices. Software partners can register as developers.
In-app tutorials
Guided tutorials walk new users through creating an order, the planner, locations, vehicles and the pricing module.
Geofences on locations
Draw a geofence around a location and edit its shape on the map. Arrivals and departures can then be detected more precisely.
Customer portal widget and shareable links
Embed a customer portal or an order request form on your website, and share public links to transport orders and the map planner with customers.
Improvements
Dark mode, platform settings, custom types and more languages
This year added dark mode, platform-wide settings, your own entity types, and Dutch and German translations.
