Review fuel and energy transactions

See fuel-card and charging transactions per vehicle and spot the ones Transportial flagged, such as more fuel than fits in the tank.

Updated October 4, 2026

Who can do this: Permission to view fuel transactions, set in your role.

The Fuel & energy transactions page lists the transactions from your fuel and energy cards: diesel, AdBlue, gas and electric charging. Transactions are usually imported from your card provider through an integration.

Open the page

The page is not in the side menu. Your administrator can give you the link, and the Flagged fuel transactions count on the Compliance overview shows when there is something to check.

Why a transaction is flagged

When a transaction is saved, Transportial compares the quantity with the vehicle's Fuel capacity. If more was fueled than the tank can hold, the transaction is flagged. This can point to card misuse or to a wrong vehicle on the card.

Check a flagged transaction

  1. Open the page and look for rows marked ⚠ Flagged.
  2. Note the vehicle, date and quantity.
  3. Open the vehicle (side menu ☰, Vehicles) and check its Fuel capacity.
  4. Check the trip and driver for that date to find out who used the card.

Fill in the Fuel capacity on every vehicle. Without it, Transportial cannot check fuel quantities. See Add and manage vehicles.
