Updated October 5, 2026
Who can do this: Role level 300 or higher and the terminal permission.
Terminals are the ports, rail and barge terminals where containers are picked up and delivered. A terminal record holds its official codes, its address or addresses and rules per transport mode, such as whether reefers or dangerous goods are accepted.
Open the terminal list
- Open the side menu (☰).
- Choose Terminals. The list shows each terminal's Name, EAN and last change.
- Use the search field to find a terminal.
Create a terminal
- Click + Create terminal.
- Enter the Name.
- Under Select transportation methods, choose the transport modes the terminal handles.
- Enter the EAN, BICS Code, Quay name and SMDG Code. All of these are required.
- Search for the terminal's address in Enter location. You can add more than one location.
- Under Terminal Settings, click + Add terminal setting for each transport mode you want to set rules for.
- Click Save.
Terminal settings per transport mode
Each terminal setting starts with Select transportation method, followed by switches:
- load: the terminal loads for this mode.
- Seal Number Allowed
- Reefer Allowed: refrigerated containers are accepted.
- Gross Weight Allowed
- Out of gauge allowed: oversized containers are accepted.
- Dangerous Goods Allowed
