Transportial vs Oracle TMS
Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) is part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Logistics, alongside Global Trade Management and Warehouse Management. It grew out of G-Log, which Oracle acquired in 2005. OTM covers multimodal planning and optimisation, tendering, fleet management, tracking, freight audit and settlement, with REST APIs and a browser-based mobile app. It suits large shippers and logistics providers with global, multimodal networks, often on other Oracle applications. Transportial is a standalone cloud TMS with published prices, an OTM5 data model and its own native driver app with eCMR.
