About ADR and UN numbers
What is ADR?ADR is the European agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. Table A lists every substance with its transport requirements.
UN numbersA four-digit number assigned by the United Nations that identifies a dangerous substance or article, like UN 1203 for petrol. It appears on the orange plate of every ADR transport.
Tunnel restriction codesCodes B through E on the record define which tunnel categories the load may pass through. E is the most restrictive; no code means no restriction.
Packing groupsPG I means high danger, PG II medium, and PG III low. The packing group drives which packagings and quantity limits apply.
