CargoWise is the logistics execution platform of WiseTech Global, founded in Sydney in 1994. It covers international forwarding, customs, warehousing, landside container transport and accounting in one system, and WiseTech reports more than 20,000 customers. It is priced per transaction, at published list prices. It suits forwarders and customs brokers that run multimodal international shipments at scale. Transportial is aimed at carriers, forwarders and shippers that plan their own road and multimodal trips, with a plan board, VRP solver, its own driver app with eCMR and an OTM5-based data model.

How Transportial differs from CargoWise
Plan board and VRP solver for road trips
Planners drag orders onto trips on the plan board, and the VRP solver builds trips by capacity, time windows, vehicle type and EU driving-time rules. CargoWise’s landside products focus on container and drayage dispatch.
OTM5-based data model
Orders, consignments and trips in Transportial follow the open OTM5 standard, so data maps cleanly to partners that use it. CargoWise does not advertise OTM5 support.
Driver app with ePOD and eCMR
OpenMove, Transportial’s iOS and Android app, gives drivers their trips and captures photos, signatures and eCMR consignment notes. CargoWise’s driver app is part of its landside drayage TMS products, and eCMR is not advertised.
Free Starter tier and low per-transaction price
Both vendors publish per-transaction prices. Transportial’s start at €0.50 and fall to €0.01 with volume, plus fees for users or vehicles beyond the free allowance, and a free Starter tier. CargoWise lists US$1.45 per LTL consignment.
