Use the carrier portal

For carriers: see the trips subcontracted to you, report ETAs per stop, driver and vehicle, and upload PODs, CMRs and photos.

Updated 13 October 2026

Who can do this: A carrier account (account type Supplier) from the transport company that subcontracts to you.

This article is for carriers that execute trips for a transport company using Transportial. With your carrier account you see the trips the company forwarded to you and keep it informed without phoning or e-mailing. What you may change depends on the company's settings.

Find your trips

  1. Log in and click Trips in the side bar.
  2. Choose Open, Closed or All at the top.
  3. Search with Search by trip number or name. The list shows the Trip number, status, start date, Next stop with its ETA, Last stop and Driver / vehicle.
  4. Click a trip to open it. Click Back to trips to return.

If you see that your company currently receives no new trips, you can still finish the trips in the list.

Execute the trip

When the company lets carriers execute trips, the top of the trip works like the driver's execution page: start the trip, start and complete the stops, take photos and finish the trip. If the trip is read-only, the page tells you.

Report arrival times

  1. Under Stops, find the stop. It shows ETA or, once you are there, Arrived.
  2. Enter the expected date and time.
  3. Click Report ETA. The planner sees the new time straight away.

Report the driver and vehicle

  1. Under Driver and vehicle, fill in Driver name, Driver phone, Vehicle (plate, vessel, flight) and Equipment (trailer, container).
  2. Optionally add a Remark for the planner.
  3. Click Save.

Upload documents

  1. Under Documents, choose the kind: POD (proof of delivery), CMR / consignment note or Other document.
  2. Choose a PDF or image.
  3. Click Upload.

If the trip has eCMRs, they are listed under eCMRs; click a number to download it. Under Chat, click Open chat to talk to the planners about the trip.

Quotes and invoices

If your account has access to Quotes and Invoices, they open on Sent: the quotes and invoices your company sent to the transport company. Switch the Documents filter to Received for what they sent you. You never see what the transport company's own customer pays.
