Marketplace

Publish a tender

Put a consignment on the marketplace so carriers can bid on it, and publish it to your freight exchanges.

Updated 5 October 2026

Who can do this: The Marketplace feature on your platform.

When you want a carrier to transport a consignment for you but do not know who or at what price, publish it as a tender. Carriers bid on it, and you accept the bid that suits you best.

Before you start

  • The consignment exists on a transport order with the status accepted. See Create a transport order.
  • A consignment can have only one tender. Consignments already on the marketplace are marked already on the marketplace.

Publish from a transport order

  1. Open the transport order.
  2. Click the Create tender icon (marketplace icon) in the header. Or right-click the order in a list and choose + Create tender.
  3. Check the Name. It is filled with the order name.
  4. Enter a Description for carriers, such as loading instructions.
  5. Choose the Type: One-time or Reoccurring.
  6. Enter the target price in Amount and choose the currency. Carriers see it as the Client Budget.
  7. Optionally link a contract in Select contract....
  8. Choose the consignment in Consignment. If the order has only one consignment that is not on the marketplace yet, it is already selected.
  9. Click Save. The tender is saved with the status Open, so carriers can bid on it right away.

Publish from the marketplace

  1. Open the Marketplace tab on the dashboard.
  2. Click + Create tender.
  3. Fill in the fields as above, and search for the consignment in Find consignments....
  4. Click Save.

Publishing to freight exchanges

If your platform has freight exchange integrations that publish loads, such as Timocom, Trans.eu, Teleroute, DAT, Truckstop, Freightos or Sennder, a new tender is posted to those exchanges automatically.

  • By default only open tenders are posted. New tenders are open, so they are posted as soon as you save them.
  • When you edit the tender, the posting is updated.
  • When the tender is closed or a bid is accepted, the postings are withdrawn.

Check the integration logs to see whether a posting succeeded. See Integrations and Integration logs.

Edit a tender

  1. Open the tender from the marketplace list.
  2. Click the Edit icon (✎) on the Overview tab, or choose Edit in the row actions.
  3. Change the fields.
  4. Click Save. Connected freight exchanges receive the update.

You can only edit tenders of your own company. Tenders imported from a freight exchange cannot be edited; open them on the board instead.
