Trip documents, CMRs and PDFs
Attach files to a trip, print CMRs per shipment and download PDFs from templates.
Updated October 4, 2026
A trip collects documents along the way: instructions for the driver, photos and signed papers from the stops, and the CMRs of its shipments. You manage them from the trip panel.
Attach a document to a trip
- Open the trip.
- Click the Documents tab.
- Drag one or more files onto the list. It shows Drop here while you drag.
- Wait until the files appear in the list.
Each row shows the Name, Description, Mime Type, Valid Until and whether it is Public. Use Edit to change the details or Remove to delete a file. You can also attach files in the Documents field of the trip form.
Add a document to a single action
- Open the trip and go to the Actions tab.
- Open the options menu of the sub-action, such as an unloading action.
- Choose Add document.
- Select the files on your computer. The card shows Uploading document… until they are stored.
Drivers add photos and proof of delivery the same way from OpenMove. See Proof of delivery in OpenMove.
Print the CMRs
- Open the trip.
- Click the Print CMR icon in the header.
- Allow the downloads if your browser asks. One CMR PDF is downloaded per shipment.
- Open the PDFs and print them.
See CMR documents for what goes on the CMR.
Download a PDF from a template
- Open the trip and click the Download from template icon. You can also right-click the trip and choose Download from template.
- Choose a template in Select Template.
- Click Download PDF.
- Open or save the downloaded file.
This needs the document template permission and at least one template for trips. See Document templates.
Download the standard trip PDF
Right-click a trip and choose Download standard PDF to get the trip as a transport order document. For forwarded trips, the Download PDF icon in the header does the same and lets you pick the language. See Forward a trip to a partner.
On the plan board, select several trips and click Download from template to build one document for all of them.
