View transactions

See money movements such as invoice payments recorded by Transportial or synced from your accounting package.

Updated 4 October 2026

Who can do this: The Financial platform feature, the invoice or quote permission, and the Custom dashboards feature for the widget.

A transaction is a money movement that Transportial recorded: a payment received on an invoice (recorded by hand or synced from an accounting integration), a credit charge or a payout. Transactions are created by those flows; you do not enter them yourself. Each transaction belongs to an administration.

Add the transactions list to a dashboard

Transactions are shown in the Transactions widget, which you can place on your own dashboard.

  1. Open the side menu (☰) and choose My dashboards.
  2. Open the dashboard you want to change.
  3. Click Add widget and choose Transactions under Financial.
  4. Resize and place the widget, then save the dashboard.

See Custom dashboards for the details of editing dashboards.

Read the list

  • Each row shows the amount with its currency sign and the date and time.
  • Incoming money and outgoing money are marked differently (plus or minus), so you can scan the list quickly.
  • Scroll down to load older transactions.

Open a transaction

  1. Find the transaction in the widget. The newest are at the top.
  2. Click the transaction.
  3. Read the Transaction panel: the status, the transaction number, the amount and the date.
  4. Close the panel to return to the list.

If you see No transactions found, no payments have been recorded yet. Payments from accounting packages appear after the integration has synced. See Integrations.

To check whether a single invoice is paid, open the invoice: its status shows Paid once the payment is recorded. Use the transactions list for the overall picture, for example to see which payments came in this week.

Where transactions come from

  • Payments synced from a connected accounting package, such as a payment registered in your bookkeeping for an invoice.
  • Payments recorded on an invoice in Transportial.
  • Credit charges and payouts.
