Build your own dashboard

Compose personal dashboards from the views you use most, arrange and resize the tiles, and share a dashboard with your platform.

Updated 5 October 2026

Who can do this: The customDashboards platform feature. Internal users only.

With My dashboards you put the views you use every day side by side on one page. For example: the map, the plan board, your to-dos and your notifications. Each dashboard is a grid of tiles (widgets). You can have several dashboards, choose one as your home, and share a dashboard with everyone on your platform.

Before you start

  • My dashboards appears in the side menu only when your platform has this feature switched on.
  • You can only add widgets for views you can already use. For example, the invoice widgets need the financial feature and invoice permission.

Create a dashboard

  1. Open the side menu (☰, top right) and choose My dashboards.
  2. Click the + after your dashboard tabs, or New dashboard if you have none yet.
  3. Enter a Name and, if you like, a Description.
  4. Switch on Make this my home if this dashboard should open by default.
  5. Switch on Share with the platform if everyone on your platform should be able to open it.
  6. Click Save. The new, empty dashboard opens.

Add and arrange widgets

  1. Click Edit layout.
  2. Click Add widget.
  3. Choose a widget in Add a widget. The new tile is added to the grid.
  4. Drag a tile by its title bar to move it.
  5. Drag the corner handle (Drag to resize) to make a tile bigger or smaller.
  6. Click the settings icon on a tile to give it your own Title (optional) or to change its options, then click Save.
  7. Click the close icon on a tile (Remove widget) to take it off the dashboard.
  8. Click Save to keep the layout, or Cancel to undo all changes since you clicked Edit layout.

On a narrow screen, such as a phone, the tiles are stacked in one column and the layout cannot be edited. Use a wider window to change the layout.

Available widgets

CategoryWidgets
PlanningMap overview, Planboard, Planner, Watchtower, Route planner, Optimizer, Marketplace
OperationsToday at a glance, Transport orders, Todo, Exceptions, Alerts, Calendar
CommunicationNotifications, Emails
FinancialInvoices, Pending approvals, Quotes, Transactions
ManagementInsights, Operational, Financial, Fleet FMS

Only the widgets your role and platform features allow are listed. For example, Alerts needs the alerts feature and the alert permission. It lists the open alerts of your platform, newest first, and updates live; use View & fix to open the record, or Ignore or Solved if your role allows it. Some widgets have options in their settings: Invoices and Quotes have a Direction (outgoing or incoming), and Insights has an Insights view (Insights, Reporting or AI assistant).

Switch, change and remove dashboards

  • Click a dashboard's tab to open it. A house icon marks your home dashboard; a group icon marks a shared dashboard.
  • Click the settings icon (Dashboard settings) to change the name, description, sharing or home setting.
  • Click Duplicate into my dashboards to make your own copy, for example of a shared dashboard you want to adjust.
  • Click the bin icon (Delete dashboard) and confirm with Remove to delete it.

Shared dashboards

Everyone on the platform can open a shared dashboard. Only its owner and administrators can change or delete it. Other users can duplicate it and change their own copy.

Do not confuse these dashboards with public widgets, which you embed on your own website for customers.
