Keep your chats at hand with the pinned chat

With the pinned chat, your chats stay docked at the bottom of the screen while you work in the plan board, an order or any other page. You can open several conversations side by side as small windows, and reply without leaving what you were doing.

Switch on the pinned chat

1. Open the side menu (☰, top right) and choose Settings.
2. Click the User interface tab.
3. Find Pinned chat (beta).
4. Switch it on with the Off/On switch. The setting is saved straight away.

The pinned chat appears at the bottom of the screen on every page except the Messages page itself. It is not shown on phones.

Use the pinned chat

1. Click Messages in the dock to expand your chat list. A number shows how many messages are unread.
2. Search or filter the list as on the Messages page.
3. Click a chat to open it as a small window next to the list.
4. Type your message and send it as usual.
5. Click the arrow in a window's header to minimise it, and again to expand it.
6. Click the close icon to close the window.

• You can open several chats at once. How many fit depends on the width of your screen; when there is no more room, the oldest window makes way.
• The chat you open last is expanded and the others are minimised. Clicking a chat that is already open expands it again.
• Use the pencil icon in the list to start a new chat from the dock.
• Press Escape in the search box to clear it, and again to collapse the list.
