Send a message to several chats at once
Send the same message to several chats in one go, for example to inform all drivers about a road closure.
Updated 4 October 2026
Sometimes the same news has to reach many people: a closed road, a change in loading times or a reminder for all drivers. Instead of copying the message into every chat, you can send it to several chats at once. Each chat gets its own copy of the message.
Send the message
- Open the Messages page from the chat icon in the header (click Details).
- Click the multi-message icon above the chat list. The Send message to multiple chats form opens.
- Click Select chats and type to search for a chat.
- Pick a chat from the list. Repeat for every chat that should receive the message.
- Type your message. You can attach files and use a message template, as in a normal chat.
- Click the arrow button to send.
When the message has gone out, you see You have successfully sent the message, with a button to send another one.
Good to know
- Each chat gets a separate copy of the message. Replies come back in that chat, not in a shared conversation.
- The message appears in the chats as if you had sent it there yourself, with the usual read receipts.
- You can only pick chats you have access to.
To reach drivers, pick the vehicle chats. Use the Vehicles filter in the chat list beforehand to see which vehicle chats exist.
For messages that should go out automatically, for example every time a trip is planned, use message automations instead.
