Report damage and problems

Tell the office when a task cannot be done, goods are damaged or something else goes wrong, using results, remarks, photos and chat.

Updated 4 October 2026

Things do not always go to plan: a receiver is closed, part of the load is missing or goods are damaged. OpenMove has no separate damage form. Instead, you report problems on the task itself, so the planner sees the issue in the right place, and you can add photos and chat with the office.

Report a task you could not (fully) do

  1. Tap Complete on the task.
  2. Choose Partly done if only part of the work was possible, or Not able to do if none of it was.
  3. Describe what happened in Enter reason..., for example "3 pallets damaged, refused by receiver".
  4. Add any extra details in Add remarks....
  5. Tap Complete. The planner sees the result and your reason on the trip.

If your company uses a questionnaire for this task, the reason questions are part of it. Answer them honestly; some answers mark the task as failed or partly done automatically. See Answer action questionnaires.

Add photos of the damage

  1. Take photos of the damage, the load and any labels.
  2. Add them to the questionnaire's photo question, or open the trip's Documents tab and tap Create Document for each photo.
  3. Ask the receiver to note the damage on the CMR and add a photo of that too.

Report waiting time

If you have to wait at a stop, add the waiting time so it can be charged or explained: tap Add Wait on the current stop, enter a remark and the minutes, and tap Add. See Execute a stop.

Tell the office straight away

  1. Open the Chats tab.
  2. Open the chat with your planner, or start a new one.
  3. Describe the problem and attach photos with the attachment icon.

For urgent problems, call your planner. To reach Transportial support about the app itself, tap Call Support on the My Account tab.

Damage to your own truck or trailer is recorded by the office as a vehicle damage. Send them photos and a description through chat.
