Manage your sessions, password and two-factor authentication
Use the Security tab to see where you are logged in, log out other sessions, change your password, set up two-factor authentication and manage connected apps.
Updated 5 October 2026
The Security tab in Settings collects everything that protects your own account. Every user has this tab. Administrators can also set up single sign-on for the whole platform; see Set up single sign-on with SAML.
Open the Security tab
- Open the side menu (☰, top right) and choose Settings.
- Click the Security tab.
Check your sessions
Under Sessions you see when and where you are logged in: the device, how long ago the session started and the IP address. Your current session is marked (Current Session).
If you see a session you do not recognise, or you logged in on a shared computer, click Log out all other sessions. Only the session you are using now stays logged in. Then change your password.
Change your password
- Under Update password, enter your Current password.
- Enter a New password of at least 6 characters.
- Enter it again in Repeat password.
- Click Update.
Set up two-factor authentication
With two-factor authentication (2FA), you need a code from an authenticator app on your phone in addition to your password.
- Install an authenticator app on your phone, for example Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
- Under Two-factor authentication (Enable two-factor authentication), switch the toggle on.
- Under Scan QR, scan the code with the authenticator app.
- Click Download recovery codes and keep the file somewhere safe.
- Under Enter authentication code, type the 6-digit code from the app.
- Click Enable 2FA.
From now on, Transportial asks for a code from the app each time you log in. To switch it off, use the same toggle (the section then reads Disable two-factor authentication).
You can only download the recovery codes during this set-up, so keep the file. If you lose your phone, click Use a recovery code on the login code page and enter one of them. This logs you in, turns two-factor authentication off and uses up all your codes; set it up again afterwards to get new ones. See Log in and keep your account secure.
If you log in through your company's single sign-on (SAML), the two-factor section is not shown: your company's identity provider handles the extra checks.
Connected apps
The Connected apps section lists AI assistants and tools that can act on your behalf, with their last use. Click Disconnect to remove one. See Connect an AI assistant to Transportial.
Tips for administrators
- Block users who leave the company instead of only changing their password. See Manage users.
- Give users the lowest role that lets them do their job. See Set up roles and permissions.
- Let employees log in with your company's identity provider. See Set up single sign-on with SAML.
