Transportial treats every asset in your fleet as a first-class entity, with its own profile, history, and real-time state. Vehicles, drivers, trailers, and containers are all managed in one place, giving planners and dispatchers the full picture when making assignments.

Vehicles

  • Detailed vehicle profiles: Store make, model, licence plate, capacity (weight & volume), axle configuration, emission class, and more per vehicle.
  • COâ‚‚ tracking: Automatically calculate and record carbon output per vehicle and per trip, feeding directly into CSRD and ESG compliance reports.
  • IoT sensor telemetry: Connect sensors to monitor temperature, pressure, humidity, speed, and weight in real time. Critical for cold-chain and hazmat transport.
  • Maintenance & compliance: Log maintenance events, tyre replacements, and compliance certificates. Set reminders for upcoming inspections.

Drivers (Chauffeurs)

  • Driver profiles: Store licence details, ADR dangerous goods certifications, tachograph card data, and contact information per driver.
  • Real-time driving hours: Track remaining driving and rest times per EU Regulation 561/2006 in real time, updated as the driver progresses through their trip.
  • Cost calculation: Configurable hourly rates per driver feed directly into trip cost calculations, giving finance teams accurate cost attribution.
  • Scheduling integration: Driver activity timeslots and availability are visible on the Plan Board, preventing assignments that clash with rest or leave periods.

Transport Equipment

  • Independent equipment entities: Trailers, swap bodies, and containers are tracked as independent assets with their own history and status.
  • Attach and detach: Equipment can be attached to and detached from vehicles at any point during a trip, reflecting real-world drop-and-swap operations.
  • Capacity and stacking rules: Define capacity metrics and cargo stacking constraints per equipment type, used by the 3D load planner and the VRP optimiser.
Technical details

Vehicle telemetry is ingested via the OpenMove driver app or Transics board computer integration. IoT sensor data is processed through the Worker node and stored against the relevant vehicle/trip entity.
