Monitor compliance
Follow posting declarations, customs declarations, flagged fuel transactions and compliance alerts from one overview.
Updated 4 October 2026
Transportial checks your operations against EU rules such as the posting of drivers and cabotage limits, and keeps an eye on fuel anomalies. The Compliance overview shows how many items need attention.
The compliance overview
The overview has four counters:
| Counter | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Pending posting declarations | Postings that were detected but not yet declared. |
| Open customs declarations | Customs declarations that are not released or discharged yet. |
| Flagged fuel transactions | Fuel transactions marked as suspicious. See Review fuel and energy transactions. |
| Open compliance alerts | Unsolved alerts, for example a cabotage limit reached, a posting declaration required or a certificate about to expire. |
The compliance pages are not in the side menu. Ask your administrator for the link. Compliance alerts also appear in your alerts, see Alerts.
Posting declarations
When a driver carries out work in a country where your company is not established, Transportial can detect the posting after the move is completed and create a declaration with status required. The Posting declarations page lists each declaration with its Host country, Driver, Status, Valid until date and Reference.
- required: a declaration must still be filed.
- declared: the declaration was filed and its reference recorded.
- expired: the validity period has passed.
- dismissed: not needed after all.
Turn compliance checks on or off
- Open the side menu (☰) and choose Settings.
- Choose Environment.
- Open the Compliance section.
- Turn Enable posting detection on or off, and set the Default posting validity (months).
- Turn Enable cabotage alerts on or off, and set Max cabotage trips per period.
- Set Certificate expiry warning (days): how long before expiry you want a warning.
- Optionally edit the Posting rules per country.
- Click Save.
Transportial helps you spot obligations, but you remain responsible for filing declarations with the authorities. Check every detected posting.
