View a vehicle's trips, map and activity
Use the vehicle tabs to see past and future trips, the live position, messages, coupled drivers and equipment, sensor data and history.
Updated 4 October 2026
Every vehicle has a detail view with tabs. Which tabs you see depends on where you open it and on your platform's features and your permissions.
Open the vehicle detail
- From the vehicle list (side menu, Vehicles): click a row. This opens the vehicle information with the tabs Vehicles, Complaints, Tires, Damages and To do's.
- From the header search, a plan board or a trip: click the vehicle. This opens the full operational view described below.
Tabs in the operational view
| Tab | What you see |
|---|---|
| Trips | The vehicle's trips. Switch between Past and Future, or click + Create trip. |
| Messages | The chat with the vehicle, for example with the driver's board computer or app. |
| Map | The vehicle's position and the route it drove, coloured by speed or by Activity. With FMS you can colour the route by a sensor instead (Sensor overlay). |
| Drivers | Drivers paired with the vehicle. Click Pair chauffeur to add one, or Disconnect on a driver card to remove the pairing. |
| Means of transport | Coupled trailers and equipment, with Connect means of transport and Disconnect. |
| Activity | Events received from the board computer: position, driver activity, odometer, fuel level, load status and more. |
| Sensors | Charts of the vehicle's sensors over a period (FMS feature). |
| Driving style | Harsh braking and acceleration, idling, over-speeding, cruise control and fuel efficiency (FMS feature). |
| Cameras | Camera feeds linked to the vehicle (camera feature). |
| To-Do | To-dos linked to the vehicle. |
| Complaints, Tires, Damages | Records linked to the vehicle. Shown only when your role allows it. |
| Information | The vehicle's details and notes. |
Pair a driver with a vehicle
- Open the vehicle and choose the Drivers tab.
- Click Pair chauffeur.
- Search for and select the driver.
- Click Couple.
Connecting a trailer works the same way from the Means of transport tab.
Read the activity of a vehicle
- Open the vehicle and choose the Activity tab.
- Scroll through the events, or use the filters and sort options above the list.
- Check columns such as Event type, Driver, Location, Odometer and Fuel level.
Activity, map positions and sensor readings come from the vehicle's board computer integration. If the tabs stay empty, check that a board computer is linked to the vehicle and that the integration is active.
